Prototype Scope

This tool estimates stress and speed margin for high-speed rotors. It is intended for first-pass sizing and sanity checks before detailed FEA.

  • Geometry options: solid disk, annular disk, thin ring.
  • Outputs include stress maxima, safety factor, allowable speed, and stress profile.
  • Assumes isotropic material, constant thickness, and elastic behavior.
